The Qatari poet Souad Al Kuwari is considered one of the most prominent female voices in contemporary Gulf poetry. She was born in Doha in 1965 and studied Arabic Language at Qatar University, where her academic background played a significant role in refining her literary talent and shaping her poetic experience.
Al Kuwari previously worked at the Ministry of Culture, which contributed to strengthening her presence within the Qatari cultural scene before dedicating herself fully to her literary and creative journey.
